This simple timelapse was taken over a 45 minute period at Balanced Rock in Arches National Park, UT. An ND filter was used to achieve a three second exposure for each image which blurs the people and smooths the motions in the time-lapse.
Timelapses require motion to be effective which is accomplished within the scene (i.e., clouds, stars, people, cars) or by moving the camera between exposures (motion control timelapses which are much more complicated). This timelapse is from Arches National Park in Utah.
